SUMMARY

The Social Media & Design Specialist supports Radius and their affiliated clients by planning, creating, and managing social media strategies across multiple platforms. In addition to social media management, this role also serves as a graphic design Specialist, contributing to rebranding projects, visual identity updates, and the creation of professional marketing assets.

From developing multi-platform campaigns and designing branded digital assets to analyzing engagement metrics and supporting rebranding initiatives, this position plays a vital role in ensuring the voice and visuals of Radius and its affiliated clients consistently reflect the mission to Make What Matters Visible.

The ideal candidate is both a communicator and designer skilled at crafting compelling content, maintaining brand integrity, and thinking strategically about how to reach and inspire diverse audiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Social Media Strategy & Execution

  • Plan, develop, and execute content strategies across multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok).
  • Schedule and publish engaging posts that align with overall brand and campaign goals.
  • Monitor engagement, respond to community interactions, and track performance metrics to inform future strategy.
  • Stay informed on current trends and recommend creative approaches to enhance reach and relevance.

Design & Brand Development

  • Create digital assets for campaigns, websites, newsletters, and events that align with Radius and client branding.
  • Support rebranding projects through logo refinement, color palette development, and visual identity updates.
  • Collaborate with creative leadership to maintain design systems and brand standards across platforms.
  • Design cohesive visual templates and toolkits that streamline marketing workflows.

Content Creation & Marketing Support

  • Edit and organize visual assets for marketing, archives, and promotional use.
  • Contribute design and social support for events, client campaigns, and organization-wide initiatives.

Collaboration & Workflow

  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing and creative team to prioritize deliverables and meet deadlines.
  • Participate in weekly meetings to align on creative priorities and project updates.
  • Be available for occasional event coverage or marketing activations requiring on-site presence.

Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in social media management, marketing, or graphic design
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Meta Business Suite, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
  • Proficiency in design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent)
  • Strong writing and editing skills for captions, posts, and promotional copy
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in education, nonprofit, or client-service environments
  • Video editing and basic motion graphics skills
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools
  • Photography or content-creation background
  • Experience supporting brand identity and rebranding initiatives

Work Schedule

Part-Time (20 hours per week), flexible scheduling during standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. MT). Some evening or weekend work may be required based on campaign timelines or events.

Location/Travel

Position is remote, based in Colorado, with coworking office space available in the Colorado Springs area. Occasional travel may be required for in-person staff meetings, projects, or client needs.

Compensation Range

$27,500 – $32,500 per year (based on experience and qualifications).
